The effects of contrasting ecological conditions in the "Evolution Canyon" microsite (lower Nahal Oren, Mt. Carmel, Israel) on the phytohormonal level in leaves of the three woody species Olea europaea L., Ceratonia siliqua L., Quercus coccifera ssp. calliprinos Webb. have been studied. The data we have obtained prove that there is a close connection between the phytohormone content, environmental factors and physiological peculiarities of individual species.
