Earthworm fauna of Lebanon
Twelve earthworm species, representing the families Lumbricidae and Criodrilidae were reported from Lebanon so far. The earthworm fauna is composed of 7 (58%) autochthonous species and 5 (42%) peregrine ones (Table 8).
